Formerly known as Team Shillinglaw, Janna has worked out of a branch office in the Slingerlands area since 2007. “This new affiliation will allow me to grow my business as well as continue to serve my community”, Shillinglaw said. Albany Realty Group covers the entire capital region and offers buyers and sellers first class client service which is their hallmark. “Having a branch office in Slingerlands will complement our main office in Colonie”, says Marie Bettini, Principal Broker. “As we position our Company for growth in 2010 and beyond, Janna and a new branch office fit into that plan quite nicely”, she added. Janna Shillinglaw is dedicated to helping those in the communities she serves. She has been a long time volunteer with Community Caregivers, serves as president-elect of the New Scotland Kiwanis, presides on the board for the Albany County Rural Housing Alliance, and chairs the New Scotland Business Builders. She is also involved with committees in both the NYS and local Greater Capital Association of Realtors, serving her 2nd year as the chairperson for the Community Relations Community and recently elected to the GCAR board of directors. Ms. Shillinglaw is a graduate of both Hudson Valley Community College and the State University of Albany. She resides in Voorheesville with her husband Chris and children, Evelyn and Daniel. Her real estate practice spans the entire Greater Capital District, specializing in western Albany County including hamlets and villages within the towns of Guilderland, Bethlehem, and New Scotland.
